At Derrycourt our staff are not just a number – each employee is given a carefully devised training plan. This plan provides them with the opportunity to grow within the organisation. Many of our Cleaning operatives have advanced to become On-site Supervisors, Site Managers and Area Managers.

Onboarding and Induction
Any employee who joins Derrycourt begins their journey with our Employee Induction to ensure they are able to reach their full potential. Derrycourt’s Employee Induction is a formal welcoming process that is designed to make any new employee feel comfortable and empowered with information on Derrycourt, its policies and procedures, health and safety requirements, and work practices. The induction prepares new employees taking up your new position with the company.

Robust Training programme
Our training programme is designed to train operatives in a wide range of disciplines and cleaning skills from a range of perspectives including cleaning methods, health and safety, infection control, chemical safety, hygiene standards, equipment safety and auditing and customer service.
Our trained and highly skilled staff currently provide a wide range of services to a large number of sectors and will continue to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
Centre of Excellence in Cleaning Education
We have a formalised approach to training, with our BICSc approved, state of the art, onsite Training Centre of Excellence in Cleaning Education that is in use all week.
Face-to-face training, is held at our fully equipped, updated and dedicated Training Centre, a hub for hands-on learning and development, that is in use all week.
Derrycourt not only adapts our service to our client base, we also amend our training courses, training approach in line with employees’ needs, government guidelines, and specialised cleaning.
In addition to our in-house courses, which are part of our Training Matrix and delivered by our dedicated on-site BICSc approved training academy
Site Specific Training
We offer customised courses to meet individual requirements on site.
Our training is available in various modes: e-learning, face-to-face sessions, or blended learning.
Several of our core online training modules are available in multiple languages.

Our training process is not limited to onboarding; it extends throughout an employee’s career with us. Once a new employee has been onboarded, and has passed the Induction phase, the employee’s training process will continue to extend throughout their Derrycourt career.
