Our FY2026 ESG Sustainability Report

Progress, Priorities and What Comes Next

Sustainability is a journey, and each year gives us a clearer picture of where we are making progress and where we need to do more.

Our FY2026 ESG Sustainability Report brings together the work taking place across our business, from reducing our environmental impact and supporting our people to working more closely with suppliers and strengthening how we measure and report our progress.

There are some positive results to share.

Environmental progress at a glance

21.1% Carbon emissions reduction

From our FY22 baseline

100% Waste diversion from landfill

at our Head Office

13.4% Reduction in gas consumption

Year on year

38.4% Reduction in paper consumption

at our Head Office

3.9% Reduction in fleet fuel consumption

Year on Year

10.3 tCO₂e Reduction

in carbon emissions compared with FY25

These environmental figures are reported in the FY2026 Sustainability Report.

These are encouraging results, but the report is not just about highlighting what went well. It also looks honestly at where we have more work to do and where better data, new initiatives and continued investment can help us make further progress.

More than environmental targets

ESG goes much further than carbon reduction.

Our report looks at six areas that are important to how we operate: Climate, Environmental Health & Safety, People, Sustainable Supply Chain & Operations, Community & Skills Upliftment, and Ethical Practices & Governance.

That means looking at everything from the way we use energy and select cleaning products to employee training and wellbeing, responsible procurement, community partnerships and how we govern our business.

It also matters to our clients. Sustainability forms an increasingly important part of how we approach our supply chain and service delivery. We want to provide meaningful information about our own impact while working with clients to identify practical opportunities for lower-impact cleaning solutions.

The next part of the journey

Our long-term ambition is to achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040, and there is still plenty of work ahead.

Our priorities include improving the quality of our ESG data, working more closely with suppliers on Scope 3 emissions, expanding lower-emission fleet options and continuing to identify practical ways to reduce resource use across our operations.

For us, that is what this report is really about. It is an opportunity to take stock of the progress made, be open about where we can improve and set a clearer direction for what comes next.

We are proud of the progress so far, but we know the work
