Derrycourt celebrates 10 wins at the ICCA Industry Awards 2026
Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists is celebrating an incredible 10 wins at the ICCA Industry Awards 2026, with our people, teams and client sites recognised across healthcare, offices, specialist cleaning and business support.
It was a fantastic result and, more importantly, an opportunity to celebrate the people behind the work.
Celebrating Excellence in Healthcare
Healthcare was a standout area for Derrycourt, with CHI Tallaght and St Mary’s Hospital each receiving recognition across the Site, Operative and Supervisor categories.
Healthcare Acute Site of the Year
Winners of the Healthcare Acute Site of the Year, Derrycourt’s team at CHI Tallaght work within a busy 24-hour acute paediatric hospital, where cleanliness, infection prevention and responsiveness directly support patient safety and care.
Healthcare Acute Operative of the year, Natalia F was recognised for her work at CHI Tallaght, maintaining high standards while responding to the changing demands of a live healthcare environment. Victoria H, Supervisor of the Year, was recognised for her leadership and her ability to maintain standards, deploy resources effectively and support colleagues in a demanding setting.
Healthcare Non-Acute Site of the Year
The team at St Mary’s Hospital, Phoenix Park supports a residential healthcare campus where many residents live on site for extended periods, including those with dementia and complex needs. Here, cleaning plays an important role in maintaining hygiene and infection prevention while protecting the routine, reassurance and dignity residents rely on.
Healthcare Non-Acute Operative of the year, Maria P was recognised for her consistency and care, maintaining high cleaning standards while supporting the routines and wellbeing of residents at St Mary’s. Ivan V, Supervisor of the year in the category, was recognised for his leadership, developing his team while maintaining a reliable, high-quality service across St Mary’s.
Together, the successes at both sites reflect the dedication of our healthcare teams and the important role they play in supporting safe, well-managed care environments.
Recognition across Derrycourt
The celebrations extended across the wider business, with recognition for our client sites, specialist teams and colleagues.
Site of the Year in the Offices Over 50,001 sq. ft. category
Our Global Technology Client based in Cork was named Site of the Year in the Offices Over 50,001 sq. ft. category, a fantastic achievement for the team behind the service. Justyna Z and Magdalena P were also recognised as finalists.
Support Staff Team of the Year
Derrycourt’s Workforce Management Tool (WMT) Implementation Team was named Support Staff Team of the Year, recognising the team behind Derrycourt’s WMT implementation and their contribution to the wider business. It is a fitting acknowledgement of the work that happens behind the scenes to support our people and operations.
Cleaning Team of the Year
Our specialist Crime Scene Cleaning Team was named Cleaning Team of the Year, recognising a team delivering one of the most demanding and sensitive services in the industry. Operating in high-risk environments, the team combines specialist expertise, discretion and rigorous safety standards to restore affected areas to a safe and operational condition.
The NCH Commissioning Team was also recognised as a finalist in the Cleaning Team of the Year category.
Rising Star
Another proud moment came when Alin G, Derrycourt’s Site Manager at Connolly Hospital, was named Rising Star, recognising a career built on progression, resilience and a strong understanding of frontline service delivery. Alin joined Derrycourt in 2012 as a cleaning operative and has since progressed through supervisory roles into site management.
Celebrating the people behind the clean
The recognition was particularly meaningful as it came during the same week we celebrated Thank Your Cleaner Day, shining a light on the people behind the clean.
Much of the work carried out by cleaning teams happens quietly in the background, but its impact is felt every day. The ICCA Awards gave us another opportunity to recognise that contribution and celebrate the skill, care and professionalism our colleagues bring to their roles.
We are incredibly proud of our winners and finalists, as well as the wider teams behind them. Every award reflects a collective effort and the high standards our people deliver every day.
About the ICCA Industry Awards
Organised by the Irish Contract Cleaning Association (ICCA), the ICCA Industry Awards celebrate outstanding service and professionalism in Ireland’s contract cleaning industry, recognising the work carried out behind the scenes across the country. The 2026 awards span three areas: Site-Specific Awards, Business Excellence Awards and Team & Individual Awards, recognising excellence across a wide range of cleaning environments and disciplines.
The 2026 ceremony took place on 16 October at the Round Room, Mansion House, Dublin, bringing the industry together to celebrate excellence in contract cleaning.
