Derrycourt Wins At The 2022 Golden Services Awards.
The tireless work provided by members of the cleaning industry over the past two years was celebrated at the prestigious Kimberly Clark Professional Golden Services Awards on Friday, 27 May 2022 in London. The Awards, launched in 1991, aim to honour the top contract and in-house cleaning service providers in both Ireland and the United Kingdom.Â
The highly anticipated awards, also known as the ‘Oscars’ of the Cleaning Industry, were unfortunately not held in two years, due to the pandemic. Incidentally in that period the cleaning industry has worked harder than ever, ensuring we were all kept cleaner and safer.
The largest independent, professional, and educational body within the cleaning industry, the esteemed British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc), oversaw the independent judging of the awards. Derrycourt was honoured to be one of the finalists in several key categories, considering that we were in worthy company and the competition was stiff. The judges noted the calibre of entries this year:
The quality of the entries in this edition of the Golden Service Awards was higher and more extraordinary than ever before. Innovation, the environment, employee wellbeing and not surprisingly, flexibility, lead the agenda. Despite the challenges of the pandemic there was a huge amount of focus on staff welfare, mental health and diversity demonstrating that the evolution of the industry was not halted, but boosted, during the last two years of never before seen challenges
BICSc, the largest independent, professional, and educational body within the cleaning industry, oversaw the independent judging of the awards.Â
The Derrycourt team was delighted to have our continued high quality of service, ability to meet the required criteria and our team’s diligence recognised as Derrycourt was announced as the winner of the Best Cleaned Premises: Hospitals Award for the work we do at Mater Private Hospital Dublin.
The award, sponsored by Karcher is testament to the work our team across all our sites put in during the pandemic and a specific recognition of our fruitful partnership with the Derrycourt and the Mater Private Hospital Dublin teams.
