European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards 2016

On the 29th of September 2016, the inaugural Pan-European awards programme will take place in Barcelona recognising and rewarding standards of excellence in all areas, and at all levels.

Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists have been nominated as finalists in three categories:

  • Excellence in client/contractor partnerships.
  • Workforce - Excellence in Employee Relationships, Training, Diversity & Inclusion, Rewards Programmes etc.
  • Greatest Individual Contribution to Driving Up Standards within a Cleaning Operation.

Excellence in Client/Contractor Partnerships

Derrycourt have been nominated for this award for our contract cleaning service with St.Vincent’s Private Hospital. In the healthcare sector it is of great importance that the highest possible standards are consistently achieved. This award is recognition of the service carried out in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital and the working relationship between Derrycourt and St.Vincent’s Private Hospital.

Workforce – Excellence in Employee Relationships, Training, Diversity & Inclusion, Rewards Programmes etc.

At Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists, our most important asset is our operatives. Without them, the company would not continue to grow and succeed. To ensure a high quality service, staff need to be trained to the highest standards. We take pride in our training programme carried out in our BICSc accredited on-site Training Academy. Our operatives strive to succeed and excel in their role. This hard work is always noticed and our best operatives are rewarded in our annual employee awards which takes place every February.

Greatest Individual Contribution to Driving Up Standards within a Cleaning Operation.

This award highlights an individual within a company who has gone above and beyond their necessary requirements. Mariana Pirgaru has been nominated for this award for her outstanding work with us. She has been working with Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists for over seven years and is a valued member of the Derrycourt team.

This is a great achievement and we are very proud to be finalists for these awards. We are patiently awaiting the results and look forward to a wonderful night on the 29th in Barcelona.
