Ann O’Hanlon is Managing Director and co – founder of Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists. With 32 years’ experience and has extensive knowledge of the Contract Cleaning and the Catering Industry in Ireland.
Ann's role involves the management of complex projects to successful completion. Her track record and ethos is one of building excellent relationships with both client and staff.
Ann provides consultancy to all clients regarding contract cleaning, budgetary advice, how to achieve the best results with a cost effective approach whilst providing a maximum return on investment. This approach has led Derrycourt to grow from strength to strength.
Company Founder / Director
Martin is Director and co – founder of Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists. He has extensive knowledge and experience of the Contract Cleaning Sector in Ireland. Additionally, Martin’s knowledge and experience within the Construction sector provides our clients with the reassurance and knowledge that we can provide them with other services such as facilities management, maintenance, grounds maintenance and so forth.
Martin is very passionate about new technologies and new innovations for the Contract Cleaning Sector. Martin ensures that Derrycourt are staying abreast of all innovations in the Contract Cleaning Sector. He continuously sources, reviews and tests new and innovative equipment and chemicals for client sites.
Avril McCarthy has worked in the Contract Cleaning Sector since 2000. Her knowledge and experience of this sector has led her to be a key opinion leader. Avril is an approved BICSc Assessor and in 2008 she held the position of Vice Chairperson for Irish Contract Cleaning Association. In 2009, she was Chairperson for Irish Contract Cleaning Association.
As General Manager, Avril oversees the implementation of new contracts from initial tender or quotation straight through to full implementation. Her approach ensures that all contracts are implemented to the highest standard and are delivered on time and on budget. She looks after the day to day running of the business to ensure our clients and management team are fully supported.
Gerard McCarthy has worked with Derrycourt since 2007. Gerard is responsible for the maintaining of quality standards across all contracts and ensuring customer expectations are met at all times. He is a key point of contact for all clients.
Gerard is operationally involved with the implementation and role out of client contracts. In addition to this, he oversees the implementation of new processes and procedures that can be applied across all sites . This includes the usage of new products and innovations and cost saving measures for the client.
In his role as Operations Manager, Gerard is responsible for the management of Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists Area Management team and their delivery of a first class service that exceeds client expectations.
Susan Spillane joined Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists in 2008 in the role of Office Manager. During this time, Susan managed and developed the Customer Support Team and was promoted to the role of Customer Relationship and Development Executive in 2014.
In 2018, Susan took on the new role as Bid Manager where she oversees the Sales and Marketing team. Her team are responsible for developing new business - including quotations and tenders - and all aspects of Derrycourt's marketing - including brand management, social medial channels and award submissions.
Susan’s extensive industry knowledge and experience ensures that Derrycourt’s service offerings meets the needs of our clients at all times.
Susan’s strategic understanding of such needs, industry standards and hands on experience with contract management also assists Derrycourt's bid team to develop compelling, innovative and cost effective proposals that potential clients require.
At contract award Susan works closely with Derrycourt's Mobilisation Team to ensure what has been proposed to the client is implemented on site.
Sue joined Derrycourt in 2010. During this time she has managed a variety of clients and contracts across abroad section of the different industries.
Sue is responsible for the roll out of number of multi-site contracts which includes general and specialist cleaning services, window cleaning, pest control, feminine hygiene and provision of ad-hoc services.
Working with a number of different internal departments, Sue has assisted with the development of key objectives on site for supervisors and staff to achieve. This ensures client service levels objectives are met. Sue works very closely with all staff and creates strong relationships with all clients.
She is a highly organised individual with excellent multi-tasking skills.
Ionut Roscaneanu has worked with Derrycourt since 2011. He has extensive hands on experience in specialised cleaning systems, industrial cleaning and the development of cleaning operatives.
In 2012, our decontamination team were presented with the ICCA Special Achievement award. Ionut was a member of this team.
In his role as Industrial manager he is responsible for scheduled and unscheduled industrial cleans, emergency response cleaning and ensuring that our cleaning operatives perform to the highest standards with health and safety at the forefront of each task undertaken.
His professional approach and attention to detail ensures that they deliver our services to the highest standard on time and in budget. Ionut assists clients to make constant improvements, implement scheduled cleaning programs, reach audit ready stage (industry specific e.g. food, pharma etc) and overall increase standards.
Customer Support Manager
Denise commenced her career with Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists in 2000 and has worked in a variety of departments including Finance, Administration, IT and more recently the area of customer service and satisfaction with her main focus on Client Management Systems and Helpdesk functions.
Denise works very closely with all departments to develop a very customer focused organisation. Her Team are available to our clients, regional managers and their teams to support their requirements whether it is additional service requirements, making changes to existing services or the scheduling of planned cleans.
Denise’s experience within Derrycourt ensures Derrycourt stays ahead in all areas of customer attention and satisfaction. She has been instrumental in the development of our CRM system, monitoring and reporting systems for our clients.
